The Tottering
Drawing Room at No. 4 St. James’s Street, London,
is accessed through the O’Shea
Gallery and opens out through French doors
onto historic Pickering Place; the smallest public
square in Great Britain. Pickering Place also hosts a plaque erected by the Anglo-Texan Society indicating
that from 1842-45 a building here was occupied by the Legation
from Republic of Texas to the Court of St. James’s. With a front-row view of St. James’s Palace, The Drawing
Room, also lies between two famous 18th-Century shops: Locks
the Hatters and the legendary wine merchants, Berry
Bros & Rudd with whom it shares a cellar. Rumours
abound that Lady Tottering has been caught feverishly tunneling
through the intersecting wall!
The Tottering Drawing Room now holds the complete range of Tottering-by-Gently signed, numbered edition prints, books, and products and exclusively offers all of Annie Tempest's original watercolours currently available for sale. Daffy and Dicky Tottering are well heeled in and extend a warm welcome to to all Tottering fans from the heart of St. James’s. |
